Last weekend Wisconsin hosted (at least) two, rainy, triathlons - Ironman Racine 70.3 and The Door County Half. Weather delayed both events, however, Racine got the worst of it which ended in a canceled swim, a shortened bike course, but the full run. Results from the "Racine 44.5":

Jeanni Seymour (CO) - 4th Pro Female
James Burke (WI) - 1st M35-39
Craig Lanza (WI) - 4th M45-49
In Door County, Wisconsin native, Adam Olson (CO) stormed away with the overall win!
Mutlisport Team newcomer, Sam Long (CO) and veteran pro, Leon Griffin (CO) both took on Xterra Beaver Creek on July 16th. Stunning himself and the competition, Sam Long ran down all but defending Xterra World Champion, Josiah Middaugh, to take 2nd overall! A Slowtwitch article detailing the race can be found HERE. Leon also had a great day for someone not focused on off road, placing 5th.
This weekend saw even more great results from Iceland all the way to Canada.
Justin Metzler (CO) traveled to Challenge Iceland for the half distance event. With a stellar performance and race best (1:15:13) half marathon, Justin grabbed a podium spot and 3rd place overall!
In Canada, both Ironman and 70.3 Whistler were taking place, along with 70.3 Calgary.
In Calgary, Sam Long (CO) stunned once again by taking 2nd place overall in a time of 3:50:41! Needless to say, Sam is on a roll!
Out in Whistler, Roger Thompson (WA) took on the full Ironman and came across the line in a time of 9:49:33. His time was good enough for 2nd in the M45-49 age group which punched his ticket to KONA for yet another year!
In the half, Steve Chapin (OR) grabbed a 2nd place in the M45-49 age group and Sam Mazer (WA) finished 4th in the F30-34 age group.
The Tennessee collective of Bo Parrish, Bruce Gennari, and Emily Rollins all took on the Music City Tri in downtown Nashville. Emily and Bruce both took 3rd overall and Bo placed 3rd in his age group.
In Washington, Brian Schaning (OR) took the overall win at the Chelanman Half Iron race at Lake Chelan, WA!
Out in Minnesota, Tim Hola (CO) took on Toughman Minnesota 1/2 and finished 2nd overall, only 49 seconds out of 1st.
This weekend also hosted the 2nd annual Timex Factory Team camp in Boulder, CO. Athletes were treated to amazing weather as they swam, biked, and ran their hearts out. "Campers" also had a chance to meet and ride with local pros, take a tour of Skratch Labs, learn about strength and conditioning from Erin Carson of Rallysport Fitness, and eat copious amounts of amazing food.
