There have been a number of great results pouring in from Timex Athletes. Here's a little results recap from the last month.

Helen Phipps (TX) and Susanne Davis (CA) are both participating as guides for Rio Paralympian hopefuls, Elizabeth Baker and Amy Dixon. The battle is still on for Rio selection so both took on the ITU Yokohama Race in Japan in hopes of performances that would help secure a Paralympic birth. Amy, guided by Susanne, finished 1st and the Liz and Helen team finished 2nd! Selection has yet to be completed but we are rooting for these two amazing ladies! We also hope to see our two athletes guiding them in Rio.

Meghan Fillnow (NC) took on the USA Duathlon Long Course National Championships in Cary, NC. Meghan finished the race (5 mile run, 33 mile bike, and 5 mile run) in 2:26:58 - good enough for 1st place! As the F30-34 National Champ, Meghan is invited to race at the Duathlon World Champs in Switzerland next year.

Emily Kratz (WI) traveled all the way to Brazil for the Ironman South American Championships last weekend. Finishing the race in 10:03:46, Emily grabbed the top step in the F34-39 age group and a Kona slot!

Our Connecticut contingent of Amy D'Anna and Chris Thomas competed in the grueling Rev3 Quassy over the weekend. Known as one of the most "honest race courses" out there, both had impressive finishes with Amy taking 3rd and Chris 1st in their age groups.

Out in California, Felicity Joyce (CA) and Derk de Korver (CA) took on the Folsom Triathlon. Felicity finished 1st in her age group and 2nd overall in the Olympic race. Derk took 1st in his age group and 2nd overall in the Sprint!

Recent addition to the Timex Multisport Team, Sam Long (CO) brought home the overall victory with a time of 1:14:55 at the Steamboat Half Marathon over the weekend! Sam also recently took his professional card and will be competing as a pro at Boulder 70.3 this weekend, along with a number of his fellow Boulder team members.

We will have a large contingent of athletes racing Boulder 70.3. Stay tuned for a full recap from the race!
