South African Pro, Jeanni Seymour is a Boulder resident much of the year and is taking full advantage of the many unique amenities this triathlon mecca has to offer. Jeanni had a chance to meet with Ivan O'Gorman at the Retül headquarters for a full bike analysis and fit.
Looking at the raw data before any adjustments are to be made.
It was clear that much could be done to adjust Jeanni's fit to make her more efficient and faster.
Talking through some basic biomechanics.
Saddle hight and tilt was one of the first adjustments.
Time for the sensors!
Having a little fun with industrial strength zip-ties.
Discussing heel drive vs. toe pointing and how those potentially effect power output.
After a few adjustments, It was decided that Jeanni will change out the stem for a shorter one and try out a few different saddle models.
A 5 minute spin to get data points and make sure all riding habits are accounted for.
The numbers don't lie.
Adjustments will be made and a follow up meeting is in the plans to get everything dialed in for Jeanni's first race.
