It was an outstanding race weekend at Ironman Chattanooga.

At the front of the race were pros Lisa Roberts and Kelly Fillnow. After coming out of the water a bit behind the lead group, Lisa managed to pick her way through the field on the bike, making it within striking distance of a podium spot by the time she hit the run. Running a 3:01:04 marathon, a run course record, Lisa passed all but one to grab the runner up spot at the finish.

Kelly also had to play catch up after the swim, but biked and ran her way into the top 10 to take 7th place overall.

Rookie Timex athlete, Elyse Gellegos, pulled off an incredible race, finishing 2nd in the F25-29 age group and stamping her ticket to KONA 2016

Aloha!

Aloha!

Bruce Gennari also had a top notch performance, leading both the swim and bike leg of his age group and finishing 3rd in the M45-49, securing his spot to KONA 2016 as well!

Ultra competitive training buddies, Mike Wien and Scott Boylan, battled it out in a very competitive M60-64 age group. Mike got the better of Scott this time with the two of them finishing 5th and 7th respectively.
